RE: It looks like you have good gear...

I agree on re-verifying the adjustments on your table- things move around, loosen up, get bumped... Clean all the cartridge contacts and the removable headshell contacts with Deoxit. Make sure nothing is loose. Verify the VTF with a gauge. See where you;re at vis-a-vis VTA.

I'd further suggest you go through all interconnects- remove, clean, and reconnect all using Deoxit. Speaker cables too- tighten carefully. Inspect everything! That can make the big difference, bigger than the cables themselves.

I find Bluejeans cables are examplars of the 10/90 rule: The first 10% of the cost gets you 90% of the performance. You need to really explore to find any 'weak links" in your cabling versus Bluejeans, after you are sure EVERYTHING else is singing. Improvements in cabling are very subtle.

Also, your amps are really old! If your Adcom isn't evidencing any hum, there was an old post from Nelson Pass where he recommends not doing any capacitor replacement etc until it hums, which will likely start gradually and build, as time goes on. He suggests "recapping" can do more harm than good. Nelson Pass sez so, good enough for me!

I would concern myself more about your preamp- are any controls scratchy or buttons inconsistent? If so, the pots and switches all should have a complete cleaning, along with all the jacks. Research this and DIY Audio website. The components look superb in the 'naked' photos so should be worth saving. Again, I would not recap willy-nilly - it's expensive and should be done professionally due to the very complex internal construction of the Technics.
