The JD9II will be a good match for this cartridge. It is one of the most flexible phono stages around and has plenty of gain settings to play with. You will have no problem. I do suggest you get a pair of Telefunken 12AX7's NOS or used. They make a huge difference compared to the crappy Chinese & Russian tubes.
