Haven't followed Bootsy's career in years. Saw him live twice though and he did right.
Thought he'd blow out the brick back wall of a small club with his Star Bass played
through a stack of Marshall amps that would make Pete Townsend envious.
Linked is a great video of the ever classy LG explaining the roots of his thumb/slap technique.
He was using this technique while the young Bootsy was still playing with JB, and planning to dose him!
