RE: When you say, "The same exact null-points can be used for any length tonearm,"

You have all the equations so you know that you can align any length tonearm to any set of null-points. I have an SME V tonearm on my Sota. The SME V is mounted on rails so the pivot-to-spindle mounting distance can be easily changed. The hard part would be changing the cartridge offset angle, but it could be done by drilling another cartridge mounting hole or elongating one of the existing holes. The pivot-to-spindle mounting distance can be easily adjusted because the tonearm is mounted on rails with a rack-and-pinion mechanism to adjust mounting distance.

What null-points do you want? My SME V has an effective length of 233.15-mm. If you want null-points of 60.5-mm and 66-mm you need to increase its pivot-to-spindle mounting distance from 215.35-mm to 224.42-mm by sliding the tonearm base away from the spindle on its rails. Then you would need to change the cartridge offset angle from 23.635-degrees to 15.741-degrees. That's a change of almost 8-degrees, so you would probably need to drill another cartridge mounting hole or at least elongate one of the existing mounting holes in order to change the direction of the cartridge by 8-degrees.

At any rate, I can align any tonearm to any set of null-points that fall within the playing area of a 12-inch LP.

Null-points are designated by their distance from the center of the spindle. What are the null-points for your Kenwood 2055 tonearm?
