I must have been badly hung-over during the Structural Dynamics class in college that covered pointy cones... You go out in the world beyond audiophilia and you don't see may vibration-sensitive devices sitting on cones... None I can recall. I can't see how they *isolate* anything. Maybe they can help *couple* by punching through carpet, for example. Am I suffering engimineer myopia?
