The whole point of RoadRunner feedback to the Eagle is to lock the speed in to what ever is set on the Eagle. The RoadRunner measures platter speed and tells the Eagle to change frequency until the platter speed matches the numbers on the Eagle. It sounds to me like you don't have a synchronous motor on the Lenco or it would lock onto stable speed in 20 or 30 seconds. You might try disconnecting the RoadRunner from the Eagle and see if you get different results.
Did the Walker controller change the speed of the Lenco?
At any rate, something doesn't sound right because it should lock the speed down immediately and keep it there regardless of whether or not the bearing is warm. That's the whole point of connecting the two components together.
Best regards,
John Elison
