Are any of these materials better for the accidental shock impulse loads?

Like the situation where the 10 lb platter slips out of the fingers during disassembly/reassembly and the force of the free falling ball, with the weight of the platter behind it, driven smack into the center of the pad.

Would any of these materials be any more or less shatter or dent proof in the above scenario?
