You mean like the one in this link?I wasn't sure if that is the type of motor I bought or not.
How can you tell by looking?
The other question is how fast it will spin?
I believe the "4" printed on the motor in my photo may be the number of poles but I was just guessing.
If it is indeed a four pole construction, one would expect it to achieve a sync'd speed of 1800rpm when fed 120VAC @ 60Hz.
1800 rpms would be perfect for what I'm trying to do.
Is this one going to run at 1800 rpm if I hook it up like you said and give it 120VAC @ 60 hz?
