A post below by slapshot says it costs $8500.Unfortunately, regardless of cost, bearing friction will probably be way too high. It has too many bearings.
Frank Schroder made a tangentially tracking pivoted tonearm with minimal bearing friction. The following article says it's priced around six grand although I have a feeling it might be more. I haven't heard much about it, though. I wonder if it's still in production. Frank claimed it eliminated skating force but he refused to allow anyone to test it. Therefore, I suspect it had skating force like any other pivotal tonearm.
