If you have tools and a place to work... a while back I made feet from a set of 4 circles cut from MDF using a hole saw- drilled out the center, epoxied (J-B Weld!) in a metric bolt, sprayed them black, and pasted a set of "Isolate-It" sorbothane hemispheres to the underside of the MDF circles using their peel-'n-stick backing.
It gave a slightly smaller but still usable range of height adjustment and the sweet Denon DP-45 I rebuilt for my boss was DEAD quiet- music emerging from an absolutely black background as the goldenears say.
The isolation concept is somewhat different than springs with rubber donut dampers but I have to conclude it is very effective. I do not, hence, believe the rubbish running round the interwebb saying sorbothane somehow poisons your music with dangerous microvibrations, blahblah... poison that kill Mozart all over again I suppose. Maybe ideas like that get floated around because people just love to sound super-smart and incite micro-witch-hunts.
