The year was 1964, "Introducing The Beatles" [VeeJay 106]-- the most common mono, "column-back" with the comma. Still plays beautifully. I remember the bin at the front of the cruddy little "notions" store that was kind of like a poor farmer's alternative to Woolworth's dive-and-dime... I think it was $3.49. I was hard-pressed to come up with the extra buck for the Capitol "Meet The Beatles" [I has a lousy paper-route!] but this had better titles anyway... I did have some 45's before that but this was my very first EllPee!
