I guess I need a Denon DD deck now, help!


Suggest a simple to use vintage Denon DP deck with arm that my family members and I can use and enjoy?
I'll have my Garrard up and running next March. So am needing something now but also to enjoy in the future.
Phono preamp will be a WrightSound with Denon 301R.
I realize some of the Denon's are highly collectible and expensive, all are at least 30 years old with few places to repair faulty control boards. I've noticed a few models DP-1200, 1250 and 2000 selling for under $500USD. My budget would be under $1,000 less would be sweet!
What would you folks suggest?
