Sure I get the curiosity of it. I've thought about FR many times over the years. I've also learned to use my ears as the deciding factor in final playback sound quality. It always did bug me seeing cartridge specs way above and below what speakers and amps claim to deliver. Using one of my test LPs I have found my systems are pretty consistent. Around 37 Hz my lowend goes silent. Around 17k is about the highest myself or any friends could hear.
Also carts producing anything below around 27Hz can cause problems. Hence the rumble filter.
In the end it's all about how happy on is with their playback system(S). Of my 3 I'm (finally) satisfied with 2 of them. The third is getting close!
