RE: Premotec motor

As I understand it, Phoenix Engineering's Falcon PSU unit feature a "Tachometer" input which it can use as negative feedback into the control loop to adjust its output in order to try and compensate for platter rotational speed error. A tachometer is a sensor for rotational speed, aka angular velocity, of the platter.
