RE: Premotec motor

Sounds like this would work with the 16 pole two-phase synchronous motor in the Thorens TD-160BC MKII I have sitting in the closet at home.

I wonder if it would be any kind of an upgrade compared to running it on mains power.

Maybe a fun project to kill a weekend with if nothing else. Can't beat the pricing on the cost of the drive it would seem.
