and have done a number of other things to my LP12 that have made it a far better table than a stock LP12. I made a heavier plinth of Australian Lacewood, moved the motor from the rear left corner to the front left corner, replaced the stock bell subchassis and armboard with a carbon fiber subchassis and board. The simplest thing is a paper ring between the inner and outer platter which deadens both and a Herbie's Way Excellent TT mat.
