I was just noticing the scope capture photos in the eBay listing for the signal generator you posted the link for below...it looks like there may be a dc offset in at least one of the channels.
You probably ought to verify that since that could result in a smoke event once your current levels are higher.
If you do have an offset on the output of your generator, one solution might be to use AC coupliing caps between the signal generator and the power amp.
