RE: HRT vs Benchmark ADC--any experience comparing them?

"Are you able to elaborate on the quantization "error" problem?"

only to the extent that I was referring to the elevated level of noise at the upper frequencies shown in frequency plot you posted.

Since this is a problem that exists in several low cost converters I've tried I asked about the Tascam hoping to learn of other low cost converters in existence solving the issue.

I thought you were attributing this affect to Burr Brown ADC's of an 179X designation in the part number. Since I don't know much about DSP and so I'm not surprised I failed at using the correct grammar. I apologize if I confused things.

I do like the specs on the ADC1 you were referring to in another post, but am also wondering how you can economically and reliably interface one to a pc for doing 176.4kHz or 192kHz captures. I had been eyeing the Babyface pro but since I don't know if it has the elevated noise levels at the upper frequency extreme problem, I'd seriously consider the Benchmark route based on your recommendation if getting the data to my pc were easy.
