Nice to hear. I assisted on a few days of those mixes, but haven't picked up the set yet. (Sad to say, part-time amateur studio assistants don't get free copies.) They were done by Steve Addabbo and Steve Berkowitz, both long-timers who generally take a less-is-more approach. They also did it very old school, with a Studer deck fed to an EMT plate for slapback reverb on some vocals, and they used a late 70's MCI 636 console that has been lovingly maintained and updated with an API mix bus. I think they used just a little EQ on just a few cuts, using Pultec EQP-1A's. It's good when the old is new again.
