They are low cost enough. You could always buy two of them, one for each channel.Doing this with another type of phono preamp has allowed me to have nearly un-measurable 60 Hz coupling. The measured difference was quite significant. Now that I've heard the difference in reproduction quality taking my 60Hz problem from 80-90dB down to 130dB plus down from the signal peaks I consider this a mandatory treatment. I would likely only buy new preamps with this feature as part of the design in the future.
An added side benefit is that 60Hz wasn't the only frequency where unwanted noise was reduced. The noise floor was reduced across the audible band in my system. 60Hz was the most significant improvement though.
I believe the improvement I saw is due to the fact that I've now eliminated the ground loop inductance and thereby reduced mutual inductance coupling with the 60Hz and other sources prevalent in my area.
