Certainly an excellent/cart stylus. If the stylus is worn it's one of the very few that you can still get an original replacement(there are aftermarkets, but I'd advise to stay away from them).

As for the table, it's from a period when Garrard was not making very good tables anymore. If it works and doesn't require much/any work on your part it might be worth it, although see if you can talk him down on price.
