It has been a long time since the 23R graced my system, but it did leave a memory of the Dynavector house sound. I also regularly heard the Diamond on an Oracle w/Tim Fletcher's "The Arm" or a Dynavector arm. The XX2 Mk. II has that flow with markedly greater levels of detail, better soundstage if memory serves correctly, and much better bass. It is quite different from the Benz "Ace" that I had in terms of detail but your Benz is undoubtedly better in that area than mine is.
