Brinkmann USA doesn't want to sell gear in USA!!!!

Wow I was a Brinkmann dealer and have been trying to buy some Brinkmann gear over the last week for a customer and just received this response from a rep of Brinkmann USA:

"When Brinkmann took over direct sales to dealers one of the unfortunate things about the transition is that there was no working list of dealers passed over so we’ve not been able to communicate with everyone effectively since the changeover in December.

We’ve taken the approach that we wish to rebuild the network completely from the ground up, and no dealers brought on under On a Higher Note are considered current, active dealers unless a new arrangement is made with Brinkmann USA.

We are not yet prepared to form a plan for the east coast, and for the time being wish to keep that region completely open so we can approach it as a completely open book.

We will keep you in mind as an interested party and contact you if we think there’s a potential fit down the road." Shane Buettner

Well based on this I have no choice but to sell my own Brinkmann gear, their loss and someone's gain.
