It may not be for you. As you said, you've done 1000s. Your experience using Goldwave probably results in far better files than I get with Goldwave or anything else for that matter.
You are making copies for radio broadcast. Would subtle differences matter? I'm recording for my music server. I want them to sound as good or better than playback through my vinyl front end.
My experience started 6mos ago. From the beginning I was concerned about sacrifices I might be making to clean up noise. It's easier for me to see and hear the differences between settings using RX 3.
