None. I just happen to like a bit more(the looks help too :)) Because the arm is a bit heavier I can use a lower compliance cart on it, so lately I've been using a Shure M44C with a 44-7 stylus. Can track up to 3g, although I have it about 2.3. I like using it with my old mono lp's and 45's, although it sounds great with anything. I use a Shure M55E and 91ED on the 1019 and that sounds great too, plus I can use my 44-3 for 78's with it.2 great tables that both sound great and both have their own singular benefits.
