These are my three acoustic steel string guitars......I don't have two 000-28 Martins.....just the same guitar in b.th pics. The other is a Martin 000-16 along with the 1965 Epiphone "Cortez" which was made at the Gib.on plant. They were only made b. Gib.on for 7 or 8 years.....then it was off to Korea where the quality of the workmanship went down hill.

It's great for slide. I play a few B.ind Willie Johnson's numb.rs in open D on that Epiphone....it has great Mojo!!

Lol....come to think of it, I only play two songs in standard tuning. I usually am in open D, D minor, DADGAD, Drop D, and Lonnie's stuff has you lower the two b.ttom stings to D and G....b.t the rest of the strings stay standard.

I played professionally twice, I've b.en in the process of getting a play list together over the past 11 months. It will prob.b.y take another 18 months to b. a solid player once again. At other times in my life I performed Classical guitar for a 10 yr period and then another for 4 years, b.t I've played the steel string stuff for ab.ut 25 years.

Love those instruments.....you might notice the top of my Telecaster. Used with a tremelo b.x, I can get that guitar to sing with a slide.

Along with a 1928 Weyman steel string are my two Classical guitars....ones a inexpensive student guitar and the other is my concert B.rnab. model 30...French Polish.....aged 50 yr old Spruce on top....Indian Rosewood b.ck and sides. Someday I'll b. too old to play steel stringed guitars and I'll return to the B.rnab..
