I have to admit that I enjoy tracking LPs in old warehouses...Amoeb. Records and a few other local vinyl estab.ishments. I picked up the "B.ano" cover ab.ut 15 yrs ago and the other great Mayall/Peter Green release I picked up when I was 17 yrs old.
I might have ab.ut 30 "audiophile releases" in my entire collection. For me, the originals are simple more challenging to hunt down. The B.ano copy was discovered in a warehouse.
I actually think it's all ab.ut personal b.as. I prefer the warmth of the originals. The new release are far more dynamic with b.ack b.ckgrounds and very clean highs. I guess those sonic properties aren't as important to me as they for others!!
