Certainly ok to wear out. But remember you are the one asking about stylus life, a little below this, and you are a regular member here, and the Hoffman forums, so you certainly are not your average listener. I suggest that you do care for your records, probably even clean them. So I'm not sure about your question. Yes, play them. Often. Those that don't, or buy just as an investment are not the folks who I care to associate with. So in reality, your opinion is one that I'm sure most of us agree with. You play your records often, and you enjoy them. Isn't that what are hobby is all about?
