Finally got around to trying my USB microscope from EBay. I would guess these pics are about 125-150X. I'll need to construct a tripod jig like John Elison showed if I'm going to get the scope closer to the stylus.

The biggest challenge is making sure the scope is perpendicular to the stylus. My SRA must be close but I can't know yet how close.

In case you're curious, this is my Dynavector 10X5 on my Linn Axis.
