Hendrix - People, Hell & Angels 2LP

picked up this "new" hendrix album on 2LP today. hits the mark!

the theme is jimi playing outside the confines of the experience with more soul-oriented players.

i like hearing hendrix in these less produced, close to live takes. familiar and new songs - quite a variety of styles. but high level of playing throughout and very good sound. the label did a great job on this set.

imho, this is an essential hendrix record for fans.
