project/one was a house brand for a national stereo chain in the 70's and perhaps 80's. the turntables, and other equipment, were made by japanese makers and re-badged. some are reputed to be much like pioneers. i have had a project/one table and would compare the quality to a mid-level pioneer table. $150 is not a bad price for it. $100 would be better, of course.
