Maybe its the Shelter 501. My Rega P25/ Minimax pre source seems to have lost its boogie. It sounds OK, but some what lifeless. Just heard the new Graceland and Brothers In Arms audiophile releases, but something seems missing. Have not used system in three-four years. This morning, I retubed Minimax with Amperex 12AX7s and real Genelex rectifier--took out TungSol reissue 12AX7s and real TungSol rectifier. Also removed Herbie's mat and replaced it with Ringmat. We shall see.
