Cheap USB Turntable from Pyle giving trouble

Just got a cheap Pyle PLTTB3U for Christmas from the wife. She even got me an upgraded Shure cartridge. Problem I'm having is that it sounds great on the first few tracks, but will start to skip by the last two tracks on ALL albums I've tried. Is the table bad or is there a secret adjustment? I've tried the anti-skate and different tracking forces to no avail.

I've tried the orginal cartridge and the better Shure. It sounds darn good with the better cartridge in my little computer room, but the skipping is driving me crazy.

I've been experimenting with tracking force and anti-skate, but can't stop it from skipping on the inner most tracks. The headshell is one of those that just plugs in and a ring screws over that and it's tight. You can't do any back and forth adjustment.

Should I keep trying to tweak this thing or send it back and try again?

I have a nice real turntable (Well Tempered) that's I've changed cartridges in for over 25 years and have never had this problem. TIA for any assistance.
