The AT and the Cardas records give roughly equal crosstalk in both channels and similar absolute values, more or less.
The Denon test LPs give roughly 10db better measurements for the L channel.
All the CBS Labs test LPs give much greater than 10db better measurements in the L channel.
The conclusion might be to use the AT and the Cardas in future. But seriously, the results do suggest there is some difference in the way the test LPs are made by the different companies. What do you think?
I know it would be a tedious exercise, but did you try (in July of 2011) to set up for equal crosstalk either one of the Denon or one of the CBS test LPs, and then re-test using the AT and the Cardas? Would be informative.
