I read many posts on a forum about wood glue record cleaning. Don't still have a link. Not all wood glues work. Titebond II was recommended. Tried it several times. Didn't have any problem removing the glue. It comes off easily in one piece. On the records I experimented with, I heard little improvement. Perhaps my sample size was too small.
