Fish, there is no one side or the other here. I appreciate your inclination towards fairness & the need to weigh both sides of the story. However this is both sides of the story. The posted emails were the only correspondence between S.E. & me. Based on that you are welcome to conclude what you will. I posted this entire episode because, frankly, I would want to know about such acrimonious and vindictive vendors. The audiophile rags & forums are turgid with folks beating on brick & mortar hi-end establishments for their horrific attitudes towards potential customers. No reason to think this can't apply to 'net dealers. This forum is magnificent for the exchange of ideas & opinions regarding hard & software, both negative & positive. It is helpful to all. As I thought opinions regarding manufacturers & dealers would be. And if you think I'm an unfair, demanding hardass who likes to spew venom for the simple joy of it, feel free to do a search on what I posted about VPI.
