The words "gross generalization" are not to be forgotten.
This being considered I tend to agree with the aformentioned results of the general conclusions. We could go on and on about comparisons of diff tables and equiptment. Even using the same arm/cartridge/setup/records/amp, did the amp warm up the same amount of time? Time of day affects sound due to diff electrical loads on the grid. Was the home a/c running the compressor or condenser fan? Was your neighbor runnung the clothes dryer? Any tv's on in the house? satellite? cable?
The point being we could nit pick to complete insanity and still have someone point out the flaws in the comparison, and they could be correct. This is where one has to ask "Do you actually enjoy the music, or are you preoccupied with nit picking"?
