Thanks so much for all of your responses...

reading through the responses I decided to copy the CD/RW on my computer and then make a CD/R. Well, the CD/R is playing in every deck I've thrown it in. I guess it was incompatibility with the CD/RW and the decks I had placed it in. That's fine as I didn't really want to gift a CD/RW. I'm trying to find a source for CD/RWs before they stop making them.
