Re: Read this Post in Audiogon, "Building Hi-end tables at Home Despot"

I think that the Lenco is very good in its price range in many regards, but rumble is definitely this table's weakness; and I really doubt anything you can do will eliminated it. You might be able to reduce it to an acceptable level by making sure everything is well adjusted and in good condition, but don’t expect ink-black backgrounds with this table, otherwise you’re sure to be disappointed.
The Lenco is a very well made table, but I’m not sure I’d say that it’s also very well engineered – it’s more quirky than anything!

This is very much a vintage table with a vintage sound, which does have its charms. It’s great for mono and 78s where rumble is less of an issue.
