Thanks for all the replies. Let me see if I have this straight...

- Music Hall makes a pulley I can use or if I want I can use tape:) Is there any special non-magnetic audiophile masking tape you recommend?
- Ortofon is crazy!
- I may or may not need a new motor?
- I could buy a table more suited to playing 78's. Any thoughts on one that would be in the price range of the conversion?
- What are some cartridges I should look at if I do convert?
- Would the Emotiva Phono Pre work?

To be clear this will be a dedicated 78 TT. I have another that I will continue using for everyday 33 and 45 spinning.
