The Papst motor in my Saskia turntable is the same form factor, except it has twice the torque and is three times more power hungry. It's controller allows for any speed, but it is calibrated for 33,45, and 78. It will run the Rek-O-Kut, but it isn't really cost effective for that use.

A few years ago, Mark Kelly made a much less involved unit that he offered as a kit. A few people around here have them, but getting one now borders on impossible.
