The brass tonearm pods are freestanding. I had initially considered supergluing three mini brass points to the bottom of each pod. I may still do that. However, initially I will try it with nothing between the wood and the brass. Then I will try putting grungebuster washers (Herbies Audio Lab) under the pods. There are also damping feet (Isoblocks) under the bottom board. The maple bottom board is very heavy and with 54 lbs of brass sitting on it plus the weight of the top board, turntable and the three brass megafooters I am uncertain how much vibration needs to be damped. I will likely try a number of variations before I superglue the mini points to the bottom.
