I am configuring a bisquit style idler table as we speak. I plan to configure it for 2 or 3 arms. I love the brass tonearm stands and was considering the same design for VTAF.Beautiful work. I hope it sounds equal to your efforts!
I have included some early pictures of my plinth build using Baltic Birch plywood. 9 plies per 1/2 inch of material. The plinth will be between 3 3/4 to 4 1/2 inches and I plan to veneer this with curly or flamed maple.
