Really enjoyed reading such an intelligent and well written review. I learned a whole lot too. BTW I must thank you for your suggestion to bypass the MC stage in my Sonic Frontiers SFP-1 with a tube head amp. The improvement was dramatic.I am also still much taken by your description of better tubes as
"the date with the ice queen turned into a tempestuous affair with a jungle goddess". You have to be some kind of writer in real life.........
