At the prices being asked by the Japanese exporters both of the Shelters seem to be excellent buys.
I'm a firm believer that the US consumer often gets the shaft by American importers who jack up prices beyond all economic reason, and then try to control the international markets (which evidently the importer here didn't or couldn't do). This is true as well in fields other than audio. The internet is surely a great help in leveling the buying field, through the provision of information as you have done, and through truly international selling.
