Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

It is certainly NOT a poorly recorded album...

Find another/better copy.

I have had several copies through the years and never had one that sounded anemic.

Also have quite a few CD issues.

I'm a bass freak and a Caravanserai freak (well over 1,000 listens through the years)
and the MFSL or various Japanese issue CDs have provided the most pleasing play
back overall. When Tom Rutley comes in on "Eternal Caravan of Reincarnation" the
room shakes and Doug Rauch couldn't have sounded anemic if he tried.

Full, beefy guitar tones, proper percussion, deep organ, all is correct top to bottom.

You owe it to yourself to get another/better copy.
