Hi tketcham,
You got me thinking about my Orbe and remembering some of the things I had some issues with as well. So what happened when you tried to remove this lopsided tilt by adjusting the corresponding springs to raise/lower the subchassis? Was the tilt too much to adjust for? My Orbe subchassis has more than a slight tendency to favor sagging towards the tonearm if all the towers were adjusted evenly so the height of the threaded riser's were identical. I have noticeable differences between the heights of these threaded risers when they are adjusted so the subchassis height above the chassis is made even or better yet when I use a level to set platter levelness.
