I have a VPI Classic that is currently fitted with a Denon DL-103R and I'm ready to upgrade my cartridge. I am considering the BENZ MICRO GLIDER SL S CLASS MC CARTRIDGE 0.4mV and the Soundsmith Zephyr. I've read great things about the Benz, but there isn't much written about the Zephyr, though it sounds like it's a great match for a VPI table.
Thoughts on choosing between these cartridges?
Any others I should consider?
My budget is around $1000 - (not set in stone).
(The rest of my system is an Aragon 8008 power amp, Aragon Soundtage preamp, Dynavector P75 phonostage, and JM Lab 1007BE monitors.)
Thanks.
