Fair call. However, depending on the alignment and initial VTF (which was at the lower end of the range), it may be that the wear was accelerated due to mistracking and/or misalignment.
I actually think nearly 700 hours would be about right for the tip in question given that the bearing radius is on the shorter end of the scale.
