RE: When I had my ART9 at....

I swapped in an old AT440mla that looks like it survived a bear attack, with around 2000 hrs on it. With the basic dial in, it tracked perfectly! No sign of audible distortions on anything.
While I had the ART off, I examined it closely with a loupe and magnifiers. It looks like new. I'm familiar the sound of a dirty stylus.
Most of my records are in excellent condition. I'm fully aware of the one's that aren't.
